The Centre for Remote Health Research is part of the University Department of Rural Health based in Broken Hill. It conducts research into mental health, health workforce issues, and lead.
The University Centre for Rural Health, North Coast at Lismore is part of the University of Sydney. It researches Aboriginal health, chronic disease, maternal and child health, workforce, social and environmental health, and mental health.
The Australian Centre for Agricultural Health and Safety at Moree is an academic centre of the University of Sydney and conducts research into injury and death on Australian farms and develops programs to reduce farm-related injuries.
The Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health is part of the University of Newcastle, based in Orange. The Centre aims to improve the mental health of rural and remote communities through research, education, service development and information services.
